119 <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following items be removed from <br /> the agenda: <br /> <br /> item 4i - Approval of Final Map, Improvement Plans, and <br /> Subdivision Agreement for Tract 5686, Mohr Park, Unit 6 <br /> - Shea Homes <br /> <br /> item 4n - Recommendation to Modify Speed Limit on Stanley <br /> Boulevard, Valley Avenue and Dublin Canyon Road. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following item be added to the <br /> agenda: <br /> <br /> item 4s - Tax Rate for General Obligation Bonds for 1988-89. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by <br /> Councilmember Mohr, that the following items listed on the Consent <br /> Calendar, as amended thereto, be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 7-29-88 and 8-2-88. <br /> <br /> b. Adoption of Resolution No. 88-383, approval of the <br /> Stoneridge Drive Connection Maintenance Agreement with <br /> Hacienda Business Park Owners Association; and authorizing <br /> execution of the agreement by the appropriate city <br /> officials. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Resolution No. 88-384, denial of the claim of Dan <br /> Benfield, individually and as conservator of the estate of <br /> Barbara Benfield who was seriously injured in an automobile <br /> accident on August 12, 1987 at the intersection of Stoneridge <br /> Drive and Johnson Drive; and referring this matter to the <br /> City Attorney for further handling. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Resolution No. 88-385, approval of payment of <br /> $70,604.48 for the purchase of two parcels and acceptance of <br /> two grant deeds from Pacific Gas & Electric Company for <br /> Valley Avenue extension; and authorizing the Director of <br /> Public Works to execute all appropriate documents to complete <br /> the purchase of these two parcels from PG&E. <br /> <br />e. Adoption of Resolution No. 88-386, acceptance of the Clorox <br /> Company's Grant of Easement on Johnson Drive, for sidewalk <br /> and bicycle lane purposes. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 88-387, endorsement of the short- <br /> range transportation plan of the Livermore/Amador Valley <br /> Transit Authority for Fiscal Year 1988-89 through Fiscal Year <br /> 1992-93; and recommending close coordination by LAVTA with <br /> Pleasanton's Department of Parks and Community Services in <br /> any future consideration of consolidation of Pleasanton's <br /> dial-a-ride service for seniors and handicapped citizens. <br /> - 6 - <br /> <br /> 8-16-88 <br /> <br /> <br />
