<br />Society for its museum operations, an increase from $20,00 to $27,500 for com-
<br />munity access television programming on cable TV Channel 30, and an additional
<br />$69,000 to continue subsidizing the County's operations of the library, be
<br />adopted.

<br /> Mayor Mercer stated that Ordinance No. 1356 was introduced March 15, 1988,
<br />by a vote of 5-Ayes, continued from the meeting of April 5, 1988, reintroduced
<br />at the meeting of May 17, 1988, by a vote of 5-Ayes, and re-reintroduced on
<br />June 7, 1988, by a vote of 3-Ayes, 1-No, and 1-Absent, and that it was now in
<br />order to adopt the ordinance.

<br /> Mayor Mercer stated that Ordinance No. 1362 was introduced May 17, 1988,
<br />by a vote of 3-Ayes, 1-No, and 1-Abstained, and continued from the meeting of
<br />June 7, 1988, because of a tie vote, and it is now in order to adopt the
<br />ordinance.
<br />
<br /> Councilmember Brandes asked if the City is exposed to any liability by
<br />allowing open house signs to be placed in public right-of-ways. Mr. MacDonald
<br />stated there is some exposure to the City any time it allows encroachment into
<br />public right-of-ways.
