329 <br /> <br /> in the City of Pleasanton, be continued to the meeting of January <br /> 3, 1989. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker stated he has received a request from the Library <br />Commission to continue item 12a - Approval of Service Contract <br />with Alameda County Library System to Operate the Pleasanton <br />Library to the meeting of December 20, 1988. After discussion as <br />to whether or not Council would hold a meeting on December 20th, <br />the item was continued to that date, at which time a meeting will <br />be held. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Mohr, that the following items listed on the Consent <br />Calendar, as amended, be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 11-1-88. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Resolution No 88-524 ordering judicial <br /> foreclosure of delinquent assessments pursuant to the <br /> Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and ordering that the tax <br /> collector be credited with those assessments. <br /> <br />c. Adoption of Resolution No. 88-525, approving Claims for the <br /> month of September 1988, in the amount of $5,956,367.25. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Resolution No. 88-526, approving contract with <br /> BSK & Associates to furnish geotechnical testing services <br /> during the construction of the Stoneridge Drive Interchange <br /> with 1-680 - North Pleasanton Improvement District No. 3; <br /> authorizing execution of said contract by the City Manager; <br /> and authorizing the expenditure of $25,000 from NPID No. 3 <br /> project (Assessment District No. 1986-9) to cover the cost of <br /> this contract. <br /> <br />e. Adoption of Resolution No. 88-527, after making a <br /> determination that new right of way is necessary for the <br /> construction of a new interchange and auxiliary lanes at <br /> Hacienda Drive and 1-580 and for a modification to the <br /> existing interchange at Santa Rita Road and 1-580; <br /> authorizing the acquisition of right-of-way for a new <br /> interchange at Hacienda Drive and 1-580 and for a <br /> modification to the existing interchange at Santa Rita Road <br /> and 1-580; and authorizing the Director of Public Works and <br /> utilities to sign "Permits to Enter" and "Rights to Entry" <br /> for construction of the referenced projects. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 88-528, approving the consultant <br /> agreement with Kent Watson & Associates for design of <br /> improvements to Augustin Bernal Park, Project No. 887012; and <br /> authorizing execution of the agreement by the City Manager. <br /> <br /> 11-15-88 <br /> <br /> <br />
