283 MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL NOVEMBER 1, 1988 CALL TO ORDER Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:30 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. Roush, City Attorney, Mr. Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development, Mr. Elliott, Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Bocian, Assistant City Manager, and Ms. Bengtson, Director of Parks and Community Development, were present. AGENDAAMENDMENTS Mr. Walker requested that an item entitled Surrender and Quitclaim of Lease between City of Pleasanton and City of Pleasanton Public Facilities Corporation, be added to the agenda on the basis that the item arose after the agenda was posted. It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wilson, that Resolution No. 88-505, adding an item to the agenda as item 4n - Surrender and Quitclaim of Lease between City of Pleasanton and City of Pleasanton Public Facilities Corporation, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None Mr. Walker advised there would be a need for a Closed Session. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended, be approved: a. Approval of City Council Minutes for October 18, 1988. b. Adoption of Resolution No. 88-506, approving a modification to the License Agreement for Park and Recreational Use of the Arroyo de la Laguna and Pleasanton Canal with Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, Zone 7. - 1 - 11-1-88
