259 MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL APRIL 18, 1989 CALL TO ORDER Vice Mayor Robert E. Butler called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:30 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Tarver, and Vice Mayor Butler were present. Mayor Mercer was absent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. Roush, City Attorney, Mr. Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development, Mr. Elliott, Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Bocian, Assistant City Manager, and Mr. Hill, Fire Chief, were present. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Walker requested that the following items be removed from the agenda: item 4e - Recommend Increased Bail on Traffic Citations item 41 - Vacation of Excess Street Right-of-Way for Stoneridge/I- 680 Interchange and Authorization to Prepare a Grant Deed of Said Excess Street Right-of-Way to the Gables Owners Association item 9b - AP-89-2, Appeal of a Decision of the Planning Commission Denying the Application of Presley of Northern California (PUD-88-14) Mr. Walker requested that the following item be continued to the meeting of May 2, 1989: item 9c - Review of Growth Management Report and Establishment of Housing Targets for 1990 Councilmember Brandes stated that he and Councilmember Tarver would be absent from the next meeting; he requested that items 9a - PUD-89-1, the application of Far West Associates, and 9c - Review of Growth Management Report and Establishment of Housing Targets for 1990, be continued to the meeting of May 16th, for full Council attendance. Mr. Lou Baldacci, representing Far West Associates, stated he would like to have his application considered on May 2nd, because of the growth management deadline of June 1, 1989. - 1 - 4-18-89
