MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> MARCH 7, 1989 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the <br /> City Council to order at 7:30 p.m., and then led the Pledge of <br /> Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is <br /> recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, <br />-- Tarver, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. Walker, City Manager, <br /> Mr. Roush, City Attorney, Mr. Swift, Director of Planning and <br /> Community Development, Mr. Elliott, Director of Public Works and <br /> Utilities, Mr. Bocian, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Eastman, Police <br /> Chief, and Mr. Van Gelder, Traffic Engineer, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker advised that the following two items have been <br /> removed from the agenda: <br /> <br /> 4i - Approval of Plans and Specification for Foothill Road Booster <br /> Pump Station No. 1 <br /> <br /> 12b- Architectural Review Board <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that an item that came up after the <br /> agenda was posted be added as item 4u - Authorizing an amendment <br /> to the Stoneridge Drive/I-680 Bid Documents to include an <br /> incentive clause. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by <br /> Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. 89-95, adding to the <br /> agenda as item 4u - Authorizing an Amendment to the Stoneridge <br /> Drive/I-680 Bid Documents to include an incentive clause, which <br />-- arose after the printing of the agenda, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer requested that item 13a - Resolution <br /> Recommending the Pleasanton Community Development Agency enter <br /> into Agreements with Certain Taxing Agencies, be moved on the <br /> agenda to follow item 10b, to be discussed with other redevelop- <br /> ment items. Council concurred. <br /> <br /> - 1 - 3-7-89 <br /> <br /> <br />
