Simulcast Wagering ...... <br /> Comforts Are Now <br /> Better Than Ever <br /> New and updated facilities in the <br />Alameda County Fairgrounds Watch <br />and Wager Bldg. for Simulcast racing <br />include six color television sets with <br />huge 60-inch screens. <br /> They are placed for maximum view- <br />ing along with seven older 45-inch and <br />twenty-two more 26-inch sets to serve <br />a capacity house of 1,000. On special <br />race dates, crowds of up to 2,000 spill <br />out on the patio/BBQ area. <br /> On weekends, weather permitting, <br />patrons are able to use the barbecue <br />area for a variety of foods: complete <br />lunches, salads, steaks, hot dogs, and <br />hamburgers. <br /> Inside are tables and chairs, a dell, <br />two cocktail lounges, 32 mutual win- <br />dows, 8 self-serve tote machines, and <br />4 video self-serve machines that have <br />insertion slots for placing paper money <br />bets. <br /> Call (415) 847-7620 for information. <br />Current post time is 12:30 p.m., <br />Wednesday through Sunday.
