MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> JUNE 6, 1989 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the <br /> City Council to order at 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll which is <br />recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, <br />Tarvet, and Mayor Mercer Staff members present were: Mr. <br />Walker, City Manager; Mr. Roush, City Attorney; Mr. Swift, <br />Director of Planning and Community Development; Mr. Elliott, <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities; Mr. Bocian, Assistant City <br />Manager; Ms. Bengtson, Director of Parks and Community Services; <br />Mr. Eastman, Police Chief; and Mr. Hill, Fire Chief. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested the following items be removed from the <br />agenda: <br /> <br />Item 4e - Approval of Contract with CH2M Hill for Plan Review for <br /> Operations Service Center Area <br /> <br />Item 4h - Adoption of a Resolution to Establish a Fire Safety <br /> Self-inspection Program for Certain Smaller Business <br /> Occupancies. <br /> <br />Item 12b- Mr. Walker requested that item 12b - Municipal Code <br /> Revisions Pertaining to Recreational Facilities, be <br /> continued to the meeting of July 5, 1989. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer requested item 4b - Adoption of Ordinance No. <br />1418, Amending the Municipal Code regarding Compensation to <br />Commissioners and Concerning Appointments, be discussed as item <br />13c. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes requested item 13b - City Council Procedures on <br />Tie Votes, be heard ahead of item 10b - Adoption of Ordinance No. <br />1419, Approval of PUD-88-17, Application of Country Investors and <br />George Ward. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes requested that the Minutes of the Meeting of <br />May 22, 1989 be amended to state that he felt that there should be <br />some accommodations included for moderate-income seniors. <br /> <br /> 6-6-89 <br /> -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
