Councilmember Brandes asked if Mr. Beratlis was willing to stipulate that the project can be complete within sixty days. Mr. Beratlis confirmed that could be done. He also indicated the soundwall on Crellin Road would start construction tomorrow. Mike Clayburn, builder at 942 Finovino, was in favor of occupancy as soon as possible. Jim Happ, builder of four homes, needs to deliver two of them within three weeks, and he urged early occupancy. Mr. Brandes indicated this is the first time Pleasanton has dealt with a subdivision of independent builders and Council wants to be sure everything is done properly. Councilmember Tarver said that if residents had appeared and objected to changing the conditions, he would have opposed this modification; but since no one objected, he will be in favor of it. It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, to adopt Resolution No. 89-288, to approve a modification to conditions of approval to Tract 5835 to allow occupancy prior to final acceptance of Tract improvements, subject to staff recommendations.
