365 It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that Ordinance No. 1432 be introduced, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, requiring that a minimum of a Class "C" roof covering be required on all new construction and for any reroofing requiring a building permit, which is within the City but not within a Hazard Area where Class "B" protection is required or in other instances where a higher classification is required. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor Mercer NOES: Councilmember Butler ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None It was then moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Mr. Butler, that Ordinance No. 1433 be introduced, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, requiring that all residential chimneys be equipped with an Approved Spark Arrestor and requiring immediate retrofitting for those residences not in compliance. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Mr. Brandes inquired if Mr. Hill would work with the City Attorney and come back to Council with a report on how this could be implemented in a realistic manner. Mr. Mercer stated that the City should be able to tell citizens which spark arrestors are good and asked Mr. Hill to suggest four or five brands that are carried by stores in the City. 13.
