109 <br /> <br /> MINUTES" <br /> OF <br /> THE MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> MARCH 20, 1990 <br /> <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the <br /> City Council to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> Cub Scout Pack Troop 910 was present to observe the meeting. <br /> One of the scouts led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance to <br /> the Flag. <br /> <br /> 2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll which is recorded <br /> as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarvet, and <br /> Mayor Mercer. Staff members present were: Ms. Acosta, City <br /> Manager; Mr. Bocian, Assistant City Manager; Mr. Roush, City <br /> Attorney; Mr. Swift, Director of Planning and Community <br /> _ Development; Mr. Elliott, Director of Public Works and Utilities; <br /> and Ms. Bengtson, Director of Parks and Community Services. <br /> <br /> 3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta indicated that there were no amendments to the <br /> Agenda. She pointed out that staff recommended denial for <br /> Item 12b - Request from Amador Valley Hiqh School Booster Club for <br /> $35,000-$40,000 of City Funds to be Used Toward Construction of a <br /> Restroom/Concession/Ticket Booth at Amador Hiqh School by the <br /> Football Field. <br /> <br /> 4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> In connection with Item 4r - Participation in the Household <br /> Hazardous Waste Collection Proqram Scheduled for the Tri-ValleV <br /> Area on May 5, 1990, Mr. Mercer inquired if the County would <br /> participate in the Program. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta replied that the three cities of Dublin, <br /> Pleasanton and Livemore put the program together and would pay <br /> for it. She added that the County Executive's Office has been <br /> contacted to look into the possibility of County participation and <br /> that she would inform the Council of the outcome of discussions <br /> with County officials. <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> 3-20-90 <br /> <br /> <br />
