MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> JANUARY 2, 1990 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the <br />City Council to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> Deputy City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll which is <br />recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, <br />Tarver, and Mayor Mercer. Staff members present were: Mr. <br />Bocian, Interim City Manager; Mr. Beougher, Assistant City <br />Attorney; Mr. Swift, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development; and Mr. Elliott, Director of Public Works. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Mr. Bocian requested that the following items be continued to <br />the January 16, 1990 City Council meeting at the request of the <br />applicants: <br /> <br /> Item 6c - AP-89-23, Appeal of the City Council of a Decision <br /> of the Design Review Board which Approved <br /> Case Z-89-557, the Application of Manoj Dave for <br /> Design Review Approval to Construct an <br /> Approximately 10,100 sq. ft. Single-Family <br /> Residence Located at 9900 Longview Lane (Upper <br /> Longview). <br /> <br /> Item 6d - AP-89-24, Appeal of Michael Gordon of a Decision of <br /> the Planning Commission which Denied Approval of <br /> Case PUD-89-07, the Application for Planned <br /> Development Rezoning and Development Plan Approval <br /> for a Five-Lot Residential PUD, Including the <br /> Development of Four New Single-Family Residences, <br /> for an Approximately Two Acre Site Located at 445 <br /> Kottinger Drive. <br /> <br /> Item 12c - Request from Strizzi's Restaurant for Restaurant <br /> Seating, Alcoholic Beverage Service, and Related <br /> Commercial Uses on Public Sidewalks in the Downtown <br /> Area. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes inquired if these appeal items have time <br />limitations which would interfere with continuing them. <br /> <br /> Mr. Beougher replied that an appeal can be continued if the <br />request is made by the applicant. <br /> <br /> 1-2-90 <br /> -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
