MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL JANUARY 2, 1990 1. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:30 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor Mercer. Staff members present were: Mr. Bocian, Interim City Manager; Mr. Beougher, Assistant City Attorney; Mr. Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; and Mr. Elliott, Director of Public Works. 3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Bocian requested that the following items be continued to the January 16, 1990 City Council meeting at the request of the applicants: Item 6c - AP-89-23, Appeal of the City Council of a Decision of the Design Review Board which Approved Case Z-89-557, the Application of Manoj Dave for Design Review Approval to Construct an Approximately 10,100 sq. ft. Single-Family Residence Located at 9900 Longview Lane (Upper Longview). Item 6d - AP-89-24, Appeal of Michael Gordon of a Decision of the Planning Commission which Denied Approval of Case PUD-89-07, the Application for Planned Development Rezoning and Development Plan Approval for a Five-Lot Residential PUD, Including the Development of Four New Single-Family Residences, for an Approximately Two Acre Site Located at 445 Kottinger Drive. Item 12c - Request from Strizzi's Restaurant for Restaurant Seating, Alcoholic Beverage Service, and Related Commercial Uses on Public Sidewalks in the Downtown Area. Mr. Brandes inquired if these appeal items have time limitations which would interfere with continuing them. Mr. Beougher replied that an appeal can be continued if the request is made by the applicant. 1-2-90 -1-
