420 <br /> <br /> Item 14b <br /> Residence Requirement for the City Manaqer <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta presented her report (SR 90:307) regarding the <br /> matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes commented that it may not be necessary to waive <br /> Zhe provision permanently since the City does not change City <br /> ]~anagers very often. <br /> <br /> it was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that <br /> Ordinance No. 1480 be introduced, to be read by title only and <br /> waiving further reading thereof, amending Section 2.08.020 of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code regarding residency requirement for the <br /> City Manager, as set forth in the Staff Report. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was then moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, <br /> that Resolution No. 90-151 be adopted, approving the extension of <br /> the residency requirement of the City Manager for an additional six <br /> months, as set forth in the Staff Report. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> 15.
