He recommended that nothing be <br />done about the matter until the issue is raised once again. <br /> <br />3top Siqn on San Antonio Street and Junipero Street <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer stated that fast cars have been running down <br />Ventana Hills to Junipero Street and requested staff to look into <br />the possibility of installing a stop sign on San Antonio Street and <br />Junipero Street. <br /> <br />Stop Siqn on Touriga Drive and Concord Street <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarvet commented that since Hearst Drive was opened to <br />traffic, a lot of cars have cut off of Bernal Avenue and speed up <br />the back streets. He recommended that a stop sign be installed on <br />Touriga Drive and Concord Street. <br /> <br />Item 10a <br />Draft Proposal for a Tri-Valley Recyclinq Demonstration Facility <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer explained that the proposal allows the City of <br />Livermore to build a Tri-Valley recycling demonstration facility to <br />do a study on reverse osmosis, which would cost Pleasanton about <br />$1.5 Million. He expressed concern that Pleasanton would be paying <br />for an 800,000 gallon capacity for Livermore when Pleasanton could <br />get more information on reverse osmosis for that amount without <br />having to build the plant for Livermore. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes indicated that he would like to have a report from <br />the Sewer Committee or LAVWMA representatives on the matter. <br /> <br /> i~r. Mercer stated that Mr. Butler and he would prepare a <br />subcommittee report for the Councilmembers. <br /> <br />Item lla <br />Ordinance No. 1477, Approvinq the Application of PacTel Properties <br />for a Ma~or Modification to an Approved Planned Unit Development <br />for an Approximately 82-Acre Site Located Generally in the <br />Northwest Quadrant of ~o~yard Road and Stoneridqe Drive, as Filed <br />Under Case PUD-80-16-3M <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer indicated that he would abstain on this item <br />because PacTel is his employer. <br /> <br /> ~{r.
