MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> JUNE 25, 1990 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Special Meeting of the <br />City Council to order at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll which is recorded <br />as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and <br />Mayor Mercer. Staff members present were: Ms. Acosta, City <br />Manager; Mr. Roush, City Attorney; Mr. Swift, Director of Planning <br />and Community Development; and Mr. Elliott, Director of Public <br />Works and Utilities. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta indicated that there were no changes on the <br />Agenda. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Item 4a <br />Adoption of Resolution Establishing Various Procedures for <br />November 6, 1990 Municipal Election <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer requested that a description of the City's <br />ordinance on political signs and the date candidates are required <br />to file their campaign expense reports be included in the <br />materials to be sent out for the information of the candidates. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ezidro indicated that the candidates will be receiving <br />more materials than what will be sent out to the voters. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 90-121 be adopted, establishing various procedures <br />for the November 6, 1990 Municipal Elections, as set forth in the <br />Staff Report. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> 6-25-90 <br /> <br /> <br />
