475 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> SEPTEMBER 18, 1990 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council to order at 7:00 p.m., and Council adjourned to a Closed <br />Session to discuss the Evaluation of the City Attorney. Council <br />reconvened for the Regular Meeting at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll which is recorded <br />as follows: Councilmember Robert E. Butler, Karin Mohr, Ben <br />Tarver, and Mayor Mercer. Councilmember Frank C. Brandes, Jr. was <br />absent. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; <br />Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of <br />Planning and Community Development; Joseph Elliott, Director of <br />Public Works and Utilities; Dolores Bengtson, Director of Parks and <br />Community Services; and George Withers, Fire Chief. <br /> <br />3. AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta stated that there were no amendments to the Agenda <br />other than what had been indicated in the Addendum: <br /> <br /> Item 4~ - Settlement of Pleasant Village Associates v. City of <br />Pleasanton and Related Claims for Damages - remove from the Agenda. <br /> <br /> Item 4p - Authorization to Hire Arlene Willits as Facilitator <br />for Ridgelands Committee - add to the Agenda. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> Mr. Peter MacDonald, 400 Main Street, representing James and <br />Anna Yee, requested that Item 4o - Ordinance No. 1484, Approving <br />the Application of James Yee for Planned Unit Development Rezoning <br />and Development Plan Approval for Four Existing Single-Family <br />Residential Units Located at 991 Rose Avenue, as Filed under Case <br />PUD-90-11 be removed from the Consent Calendar for further <br />discussion of the condominium conversion issue. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer stated that Item 4o would be considered under <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER as Item 12a. <br /> <br /> 9-18-90 <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
