149 <br /> <br />Hometown Heroes Celebration on May 18th <br /> <br /> Ms. Scribner informed the Council that the Hometown Heroes <br />Celebration being planned by Pleasanton and four other cities in <br />the Valley will be held on May 18th at the Hacienda Business Park. <br />She stated that the event would include a parade, a community <br />picnic and some exhibits. She added that about one-half of the 66 <br />Pleasanton military service personnel who served during the Persian <br />Gulf War have returned to their bases in the United States; the <br />other half are still in the Middle East. <br /> <br />10.
