He thanked the Staff for a comprehensive <br /> report and invited the Council to attend a conference on Trails <br /> Development. <br /> <br /> Mr. David Glenn, 5650 Foothill Road, commended the City for <br /> its stand on trails. He pointed out that the development of the <br /> A-M Homes, Moller and Presley projects are contiguous in terms of <br /> the open space and hiking trails that they would provide; however, <br /> leaving the open space in private hands like the Homeowners <br /> Associations could result in a loss of control over the uses of the <br /> open space over time. He proposed the establishment of an <br /> assessment district for the conservation and preservation of the <br /> Ridgelands open space. <br /> <br /> Ms. Diane Habener, 385 Linden Way, a member of the Tri-Valley <br /> Trails Council and of the Citizens for Equestrian Trails, indicated <br /> that she was in favor of the open space and trails policies <br /> recommended in the Staff Report. <br /> <br /> - 8 - <br /> 2-19-91 <br /> <br /> <br />
