MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> Item 8a <br /> Expiration of Park and Recreation Commissioner Terms <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer indicated that the terms of Park and Recreation <br /> Commissioners A. Ryan McKeon, Robert Silva and Dennis Winslow will <br /> expire on February 15, 1991 and that all three Commissioners are <br /> eligible for reappointment. He stated that applications for the <br /> positions will be accepted through March 5, 1991. <br /> <br /> Item 8b <br /> Housinq Authority Commission Appointments <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, that <br /> Resolution No. 91-19 be adopted, reappointing Ms. Gloria Bondurant <br />and Ms. Marty Wadekamper as Regular Members of the Housing <br /> Authority Board of Commissioners. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Dedication o~ the operat~s se.rV~Ce center <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer stated that some City employees had requestedlhim <br /> to discuss the possibility of dedicating the Operations Service <br /> Center in honor of Ernie Oxsen, a retired City employee who passed, <br /> away recently. He indicated that since there have been a number-of <br /> City employees who had contributed their time and effort to make <br /> Pleasanton a better community, it would be more appropriate to <br /> dedicate the Center in memory of all the City employees who have <br /> passed away. He added that during the dedication ceremony, he <br /> would emphasize that some of those employees, particularly Ernie <br /> Oxsen and John McWilliams, have earned the respect of City <br /> employees. <br /> <br /> 9...
