377 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> AUGUST 20, 1991 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded <br />as follows: Councilmembers Robert E. Butler, Karin Mohr, Dorothy <br />N. Scribner, Ben Tarver, and Mayor Mercer. Staff members present <br />were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael H. Roush, City <br />Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development; and Joseph Elliott, Director of Public Works and <br />Utilities. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta indicated that there were no amendments to the <br />Agenda. She informed the Council that the amendment to the Staff <br />Report on Item 4n - Approval of Draft Source Reduction and <br />Recycling Element (SRRE) states that before the SRRE is circulated, <br />the City will indicate a change in the plan to show that there will <br />be no reference to Measure D as an alternative source of funding, <br />given the City's success in the lawsuit. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Mr. Butler, that the <br />following actions be taken on the Consent Calendar: <br /> <br /> a. Approve the City Council Minutes for 7/30/91 and 8/6/91. <br /> <br /> b. Proclaim September 22-28, 1991 as "California Rideshare <br /> Week." <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> 8-20-91 <br /> <br /> <br />
