161 <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer stated that he would support the Design Review <br />Board's decision based on Mr. Garmison's point. He noted that <br />people will understand what the shop is since the sign would be big <br />enough. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Mr. Tarver, that <br />Resolution No. 91-70 be adopted, denying AP-91-2, the appeal of <br />Outdoor World, thereby upholding the decision of the Design Review <br />Board for Case Z-91-31, the application of Outdoor World for a <br />wall-mounted tenant sign at the Rose Pavilion Phase III retail <br />complex, located at 3903 Santa Rita Road, as set forth in the Staff <br />Report. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6d <br />Public Hearing: Weed Abatement Program 1991 (SR 91:156) <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br />application. <br /> <br /> There being no testimony, Mr. Mercer declared the public <br />hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Mr. Mercer, that <br />Resolution No. 91-71 be adopted, approving the 1991 Weed Abatement <br />List and authorizing Staff to proceed with the abatement on <br />properties set forth in Resolution No. 91-45. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6e <br />Report on Growth Management <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver stated that it would be better to continue this <br />item to the first meeting in June instead of to May 21st since <br />there are significant public hearings on the Agenda for May 21st. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta commented that Council has until the end of June to <br />make the Growth Management allocations and that if Council is <br />unable to do it by the June 18th meeting, Council could call a <br />special meeting before the end of June. <br /> <br /> - 9 - <br /> 5-7-91 <br /> <br /> <br />
