He noted, however, that this is now <br /> irrelevant since it does not follow federal directives. <br /> <br /> Item 9a <br /> Appointment of Downtown Task Force Committee (SR 91:186) <br /> <br /> Ms. Scribner informed the Council that Ms. Mohr and she <br /> interviewed 25 applicants to the Downtown Task Force Committee. <br /> She requested Council to approve their recommendations for <br /> appointment to the Committee. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer inquired how long the task force would function. <br /> <br /> Ms. Scribner replied that it would take from about six to <br /> eight months. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that <br /> Resolution No. 91-72 be adopted, appointing the following to the <br /> Downtown Task Force Committee: Ron Horan, representing the <br /> Planning Commission; Bill Hirst, representing the Pleasanton <br /> Chamber of Commerce; Bill Laube representing the Pleasanton <br /> Downtown Association; Don Mendez, representing downtown property <br /> owners; Bonnie Iverson, representing downtown merchants, Jean <br /> Kanter; representing downtown residents; and Mary Ann Rocha and <br /> Gary Dove, representing Pleasanton residents at large. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> 10. MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> Item 10a <br /> Ordinance No. 1505, An Ordinance Amendinq Section 1 (Part) of <br /> Ordinance No. 1336 and Section 17.36.160 of the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code, as Amended, Concerninq the Application Procedures <br /> for Growth Manaqement Approval <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver stated that he understood the intent of the <br /> Ordinance but that the language of the revision indicates that the <br /> Bonde Project must be approved by this first meeting in May to <br /> qualify for Growth Management; however, the application has been <br /> continued to a future meeting.
