1 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> SEPTEMBER 3, 1991 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded <br />as follows: Councilmembers Robert E. Butler, Karin Mohr, Dorothy <br />N. Scribner, Ben Tarver, and Mayor Mercer. Staff members present <br />were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael H. Roush, City <br />Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development; Joseph Elliott, Director of Public Works and <br />Utilities; and Dolores Bengtson, Director of Parks and Community <br />Services. <br /> <br />3. AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta reminded council that Item 4r - Vacation of a <br />Portion of E1 Capitan Drive and Item 4s - Approval of Plans and <br />Specifications and Authorization to Call for Bids for the Arroyo <br />del Valle Pedestrian/Bicycle Path under Valley Avenue were added to <br />the Agenda by addendum. She also requested that Item 4b - <br />Architect Selection for Affordable Housing Pro~ect and Approval of <br />Contracts be continued to the September 17, 1991 City Council <br />Meeting. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver requested that Item 4m - Authorization to Send <br />Letter to Alameda County Board of Supervisors Regardinq Increased <br />Tax Assessment of Viacom Cablevision Property be removed from the <br />Consent Calendar for further discussion by Council. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer indicated that Council would discuss the item <br />under CITY MANAGER'S REPORT as Item 12e. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> With respect to Item 4p - Report on Water Conservation <br />Progress for August 1991, Mr. Robert Cordtz, 262 West Angela <br />Street, inquired if the City would have attained its 25% reduction <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> 9-3-91 <br /> <br /> <br />
