21

Mr. Butler asked Mr. Kenny if he agreed fully with the
conditions proposed by the Commission.

Mr. Kenn~ stated that his original proposal was to give the
entire $12,000 at one time so the Center would not have to come
back in six months.

It was moved by Mr. Tarver, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that
Resolution No. 91-151 be adopted, granting $12,000 to the Family
Crisis Center as one-time-only funds, with the stipulation that it
be funded in two increments of $6,000, the first being available
immediately and the second after six months, contingent upon the
Family Crisis Center and The Center submitting quarterly financial
reports that will include the status of fund raising activities and
satisfactory review of the reports by Staff and the Human Services
Commission, as set forth in the Staff Report.
The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor
Mercer
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

~tem 12c
Aqreement Between the City of Pleasanton and Pleasanton Unified
School District for the Exchanqe of Real Property (SR 91:368)

Mr. Butler stated that he is satisfied with the language in
the Agreement with respect to the proposed Growth Management
exemption for the School District because it keeps the exemption
within the Growth Management process while giving the School
District as much assurance as possible that it would be extended
preferential treatment.

Ms. Mohr stated that the Agreement is a good compromise for
both the City and the School District because it addresses the
needs of the School District to maximize the value of its property
and does not impact the City negatively since the units will be
accommodated in the Growth Management Program.

Ms. Scribner inquired if the total number of exempted units
mentioned in Section 7.3 of the Agreement referred to 200 units
phased over several years or in one given year.

- 12 -
9-3-91
