He felt that was inappropriate. He hoped that <br /> there is a good honest debate through the election so that the <br /> residents could make a good, intelligent decision. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr asked the City Attorney what was improper about the <br /> adopted ballot measure language. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush indicated that Councilmember Tarver requested a <br />Special Meeting to be called to discuss the ballot language and a <br />majority of the Council agreed to convene the meeting. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr did not support the motion because she did not feel <br />that what was done at last night's meeting was improper. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Mr. Butler, to <br />adopt the following wording for the ballot language: "Shall the <br />General Plan of the City of Pleasanton be amended by adopting the <br />Pleasanton Ridgelands Plan." <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Mohr <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />3/5/92 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
