He supported the adopted
language. He believed that the Council was being fair.

Darryl Alexander, 849 Montevino Drive, commended Council on
its adopting the language. He
recommended Council to incorporate the District's park into the
City's plan.

Maudelene Marshall, 1405 Palomares Road, felt that the work by
the Committee was in the best interest of all of the citizens of
Pleasanton and she objected to reference to a "secret" meeting.
She supported the process and the verbiage used for the ballot
language.

Shelby Fleck, 5248 Ridgevale Way, supported and agreed with
the previous speakers and supported the language as adopted.

Mr. Butler asked the Mayor for point of personal privilege
and indicated that he needed to leave at 5:00 p.m. for an
appointment. He strongly objected to the accusations that this
language was biased. He supported the adopted language however, he
did not have any objection to the two proposals given by previous
speakers. The simplest solution would be to say "Should the
General Plan be amended as recommended by the Pleasanton Ridgelands
Plan."

Frank Berlogar, 2200 Vineyard Avenue, urged Council to draw
the line as to those people who were trying to stop the democratic
process. He supported the adopted language.

Emily Carsen, 2574 Skimmer Court, was concerned with the
feasibility of this Plan and the problems it could bring to the
residents of Pleasanton.

3/5/92 5
