(SR92:91) <br /> <br />Also consider a negative declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br />application. <br /> <br /> Mike Madden, 2776 Hartley Gate Court, concurred with the staff <br />recommendations with the exception of condition No. 6. An <br />alternative to Condition 6 had been prepared to read as follows: <br />"The 22 apartment units in the development shall be limited to <br />rental by seniors as defined by the department of Housing and Urban <br />Development (HUD). In addition, the developer shall work with <br />staff to seek optimal financing assistance for the project to <br />insure that the maximum number of units that is economically <br />feasible are rented "very low income seniors". In any case a <br />minimum number "5" of the units shall be reserved for very low <br />income seniors. Very low income shall mean those individuals or <br />households whose incomes are no greater than 50% of the median <br />household income for the Oakland Primary Metropolitan Statistical <br />Area (PMSA) based on family size as established by HUD.
