Zoninq for the property is C-C <br />{Central Commercial) District (SR92:81) <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br />application. <br /> <br /> Bob Philcox, President of Community First National Bank, 749 <br />Main Street, reviewed the history of the project. He assured <br />Council that the bank would cooperate during the Main Street <br />reconstruction however, until it was determined what the parking <br />plan was and how other property owners were going to participate, <br />he didn't feel it would be prudent for the bank to sign any <br />documents regarding the removal of the two fences which separate <br />the Bank's parking from the property next to it. He asked that <br />Council support the Design Review Board's approval of the project. <br /> <br /> Mr. Philcox also asked that Council approve the remodeling of <br />the bank's historical sign. He explained that the bank was trying <br />to meet a May 1, 1992 deadline on it's building construction so <br />that it could accommodate the merger of the two banks in town.
