He added there
were no conditions that stated that this needed to be affordable.

It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, that
Resolution No. 92-24 be adopted, denying the appeal and thereby
approving a conditional use permit to construct a second unit
within a portion of an existing detached garage.

The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Scribner, and Tarver
NOES: Mayor Mercer
ABSENT: Councilmember Butler
ABSTAIN: None

Item 6q
PUD-S7-11-1Mt Guaranty RV Centers
Application for a major modification to an approved Planned Unit
Development for Budqet Car Sales and Rental, located at 4011
Pimlico Drive, to allow the display and sales of recreational
vehicles (RV's) and related siqn chanqes on the site. Zoninq for
the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Commercial
District. He expressed concern that the conditions of approval be
enforced. In particular, he wanted no test drives in the
residential neighborhoods; no parking of RV's on the street along
Pimlico Drive with the applicant to pay for signs which prohibit
trucks and RV parking.; additional trees to mitigate the visual
impact; hours of operation to be 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; limit
vehicle start ups to one or two times a month, except for test
drives; no vehicle maintenance on site; and no dumping on-site.

Mayor Mercer asked what the typical price was for one of these
vehicles.

1/21/92
7
