MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> January 21, 1992 <br /> <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded <br />as follows: Councilmembers Karin Mohr, Dorothy N. Scribner, Ben <br />Tarver, and Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer. Councilmember Robert E. <br />Butler was out of town on business. Staff members present were: <br />Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; <br />Wayne Rasmussen, Advanced Planner; and Joseph Elliott, Director of <br />Public Works and Utilities. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Item 12c, Tentative Tract Map 6442, Signature Properties <br />(Marbella), treatment of NPID assessments in Tract 6442 was <br />continued to February 4, 1992. <br /> <br /> Staff requested that Item 4f, Authorization to Settle Pending <br />WQ~kers Compensation Death Benefit Claim, be continued until <br />February 4, 1992. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, that <br />the Consent Calendar be approved as amended, as follows: <br /> <br /> Bruce Fiedler, Administrator of Pleasanton Gardens, described <br />the Section 8 program and encouraged the Council to administer the <br />60 vouchers for which it is eligible. <br /> <br /> Joe Felsem, member of the Alameda County Housing Council, <br />supported Item 4k. He stated that one of the Housing Council's <br />goals was to preserve the existing affordable housing stock. There <br />are 519 affordable housing units in Pleasanton that will be at risk <br />of converting to market rate within the next ten years. <br /> <br /> <br />
