Hacienda will continue to participate in those <br /> improvements that are reasonably related to its project in order to <br /> keep the intersections at LOS D or better. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Butler, seconded by Ms. Mohr, to approve <br /> Option 2, as out lined in the staff report, where option initiates <br /> a modification to the Hacienda Business Park PUD concerning, among <br /> other things, traffic conditions which require new development in <br /> the Business Park to fund mitigation found necessary to accommodate <br /> existing and approved project traffic and the reduction of one <br /> million square feet of development within the Park. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Scribner, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: Councilmember Tarver <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer asked for a report from Mr. van Gelder that <br /> addresses whether Valley/Santa Rita needs to be in or out of the <br /> model. Mr. van Gelder said that would be part of the General Plan <br /> review. <br /> <br /> Mr. Butler also requested that the report highlight the <br /> remaining improvements necessary there. <br /> <br /> Item 12b <br /> Amendment to Water Conservation Plan (SR 92:209) <br /> <br /> There was no discussion. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Butler, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that <br /> Ordinance No. 1560 be introduced, to be read by title only and <br /> waiving further reading thereof, approving amendment to Section <br /> 9.30,070-Stage I within Ordinance No. 1508, the City of <br /> Pleasanton's Conservation Plan, changing Stage I, the voluntary <br /> water reduction portion of the plan (25% voluntary conservation) to <br /> Stages I-A through I-D (10%, 15%, 20% and 25% voluntary <br /> conservation, respectively) for all water customers compared to <br /> usage in 1990; 2) continue the implementation of a City-wide water <br /> education and conservation program to educated customers about <br /> methods to temporarily and permanently reduce water use; continue <br /> involvement with the valley-wide public information and education <br /> plan being coordinated by each water retailer within the <br /> Livermore/Amador Valley; and 3) ratify the action of the Public <br /> Works Director to impose Stage I-A of the Water Conservation Plan <br /> which calls for an overall water use reduction of 10% for water <br /> used in May through September, 1992 for all water customers <br /> compared to their usage in 1990. <br /> <br /> 5/19/92 18 <br /> <br /> <br />
