Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City <br /> Council to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> The Boy Scout Troop 901 led the assembly in the Pledge of <br /> Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br /> pOLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded <br /> as follows: Councilmembers Robert E. Butler, Karin Mohr, Dorothy <br /> N. Scribner, Ben Tarver, and Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer. Staff <br /> members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Steven Bocian, <br /> Assistant City Manager; Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. <br /> Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; and Joseph <br /> Elliott, Director of Public Works and Utilities. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta indicated that Item' 12b, Policies for Open SDa~e, <br />was to be continued to the May 19, 1992 City Council meeting. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer requested that Item 4k,. S10. 000 Participation in <br />!.he Alameda County Home ComDostina Bin Cost-Sharina proaram be <br />n=oved to Item 12e and Item 7e, PUD-90-~0-1M/Palomi~0 Place be <br />e. iscussed simultaneously with Item 12a. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> Robert Cordtz, 262 West Angela, spoke regarding item 4b on the <br />consent Calendar. He commended staff for holding the 258 <br />conservation on water. He still wants answers to his questions on' <br />the Well 8. He did not think the Council should have a million <br />dollar well on the Consent Calendar and passed with a motion. <br /> <br /> Joseph Elliott, Director of Public Works, indicated the City <br />had already approved this project. The only thing uncertain at <br />this time is DSRSD's participation and when. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta indicated the matter of the well would come back <br />for consideration at the budget hearing. <br /> <br />5/5/92 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
