175

MINUTES
OF
THE
MEETING
OF
THE CITY COUNCIL

November 17, 1992

1. CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City
Council to order at 7:30 p.m.

Boy Scout Troop 911 was present to observe the meeting and led
the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

2. ROLL CALL

City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded
as follows: Councilmembers Robert E. Butler, Karin Mohr, Dorothy
N. Scribner, Ben Tarver, and Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer. Staff
members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Steven Bocian,
Assistant City Manager; Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; Brian W.
Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Joseph
Elliott, Director of Public Works and Utilities; and Jerry Iserson,
Principal Planner.

3. AGENDAAMENDMENTS

Mayor Mercer explained that the joint meeting between the
School District, City of Pleasanton and the developers was
continued because there was some questions on the language included
in the agreement.

Mayor Mercer pointed out that item 4f, Prohibition of
overniqht parkinq on Kamp Drive, south of Mohr Avenue, was removed
from this agenda. He also indicated that the appeal for item 6a,
AP-92-20, Tract 6545, Kaufman and Broad, Inc. (California
Reflections), had been withdrawn.

Mr. Tarver requested that item 15a, City of Pleasanton
Downtown Revitalization Plan be continued until the new Council is
seated. He was not certain if Mr. Pico would have a conflict of
interest on this item.

Mr. Roush indicated that he was unable to determine that at
this time.

ii/i7/92 i
