167 <br /> <br /> He thought that this was a real attempt to provide affordable <br />housing and he wished that there was a bigger site and different <br />location available so that the Rotary could provide even more. <br /> <br /> Ms. Scribner added that she was concerned with where the <br />profits would be given because the City is donating the land. She <br />felt that if the Rotary did receive a profit from this project it <br />should be applied to City projects as opposed to community <br />charities. <br /> <br /> Ms. Bacon pointed out that the neighbors have not spoken <br />against the Rotary Club and is not blaming the Rotary Club. She <br />said that their concern is due process and the City Council. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Butler, and seconded by Mayor Mercer, that <br />Resolution No. 92-206 be adopted, based on a review of an initial <br />environmental impact study done for this project and on a finding <br />that no significant environmental impact would occur as outlined in <br />the City's guidelines and on a further finding that a negative <br />declaration is appropriate in connection with PUD-92-08, Pleasanton <br />Rotary/City of Pleasanton, and that a "de minimis impact" finding <br />is appropriate for this case. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Butler, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, that <br />Ordinance No. 1583 be introduced, to be read by title only and <br />waiving further reading thereof, approving the application of <br />Pleasanton Rotary North for Planned Unit Development rezoning and <br />development plan approval as filed under Case PUD-92-8. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Scribner, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Tarver <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />1 /3/9 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
