(SR92:405) <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />5. MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Harvey Kameny, 2832 Gray Fox Circle, Chairman of the Housing <br />Authority, read a letter expressing the Housing Authority's <br />appreciation for Council's work in providing the Senior Center and <br />Centennial Park. Mr. Kameny further indicated the Housing <br />Authority Board is available to work with Council to improve or <br />enhance activities or the operations of the Senior Center and <br />Centennial Park. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer thanked the Housing Authority for its time and <br />effort in putting the whole project together. Pleasanton can be <br />proud of what has been done for the senior community. <br /> <br /> Paul Ebright, 5416 Blackbird Drive, requested that the <br />meetings regarding the San Francisco Water District property be <br />changed from 4:00 p.m. on Wednesdays in order that more of the <br />public have an opportunity to attend. Mr. Mercer indicated the <br />Committee had set the best time for its schedule, however he would <br />ask the Committee to consider changing the meeting time. <br /> <br />6. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Item 6a <br />PUD-86-18-3M, Cardoza Properties <br />ADDliCatiOn for a major modification to an approved planned unit <br />development to modify the conditions of approval to allow <br />freestandinq restaurants servinq alcoholic beveraqes after 10:00 <br />p.m. (classified as a "bar") as conditional uses in the Santa Rita <br />Square commercial center located at 3150, 3160, 3170, and 3180 <br />Santa Rita Road. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - C (Commercial) District. (SR92:377) <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br />application. <br /> <br /> Judy Anchondo, general manager of La Familia Restaurant, <br />indicated they had done much with the community and that this <br />application does not mean they plan to stay open as a bar. <br /> <br />10/6/92 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
