139 <br /> <br /> Mark Kehke, 6785 B Sierra Court, Dublin, representing Ahmanson <br />Development, explained that Ahmanson is motivated to complete this <br />project as quickly as possible. He may be coming back to Council <br />for a modification of the PUD for Land Unit A. He would be willing <br />to work with staff regarding the growth management for Land Unit A. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver would not support approving this minor <br />modification unless it had a growth management condition ("use it <br />or lost it") added to it. <br /> <br /> Mr. Summers indicated that if he did not receive approval <br />tonight, the project will be substantially delayed. He offered to <br />reallocate some units to future years. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush felt more comfortable for Council to limit the <br />growth management condition to Land Unit B because Land Unit B is <br />separate from Land Unit A. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, to <br />deny the appeal, thereby approving the application of the DeSilva <br />Group for a minor modification to the approved development plan for <br />Laguna Oaks as filed under Case PUD-S9-5-2M. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mohr and Scribner <br />NOES: Councilmembers Dennis, Pico and Mayor Tarver <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />It was moved by Mayor Tarvet, and seconded by Mr. Pico, to <br />approve the application of the DeSilva Group for a minor <br />modification to the approved development plan for Laguna Oaks as <br />filed under Case PUD-S9-5-2M with the condition that the growth <br />management approvals be reallocated to this year or to future <br />years, as the developer sees fit, but if building permits were not <br />obtained for those units so approved, the approvals would be lost <br />and the developer would have to reapply for future approvals. <br /> <br /> After discussion, Mayor Tarver withdrew his motion and Mr. <br />Pico withdrew his second. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, to <br />continue this item to the April 20, 1993 Regular City Council <br />meeting to allow time for further growth management discussions <br />with the representatives from the DeSilva Group and from Ahmanson <br />Development. <br /> <br />4/6/93 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
