MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> <br /> Item 13a <br /> Amendment to Resolution 92-230 Establishing the Economic Development Advisory <br /> Committee <br /> <br /> Ms. Scribner was concerned with having the proper representation on this Committee. <br /> Mr. Pico agreed and felt that more flexibility was needed. He suggested that if the designated <br /> categories could not be filled, then at-large applicants should be appointed. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr said that attendance was never a problem on the original Committee. <br /> She expected that this Committee would be broken into subcommittees. Ms. Mohr suggested <br /> having a year-end review of the progress the Committee has made. <br /> <br /> Nathan Meeks, Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee Chairman, <br /> spoke in support of this item and asked that Council move forward as quickly as possible. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that Resolution No. 93-72, be <br /> adopted, amending the mission statement of the Economic Development Advisory Committee. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None ' <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> 14.
