CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old <br /> Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. <br /> <br /> 2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br />{.C) Those in attendance were: City_ Council: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner <br />CO and Mayor Tarver; 1.$_c, hl:~p_l_,l~: Charles Eddinger, Clark Gunson, Juanita I-Iaugen, Cindy <br />CO McGovern, and President Judith Markolf. <br /> <br /> Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael Roush, City <br /> Attorney; Brian Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Joseph Elliott, <br /> Director of Public Works and Utilities; Roger Higdon, Assistant Director of Public Works and <br /> Utilities; and Bill James, Secretary to the School Board. <br /> <br /> 3. AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> There were none. <br /> <br /> 4. MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Russell O'Bannon, 1700 Road, San Jose, site manager for a proposed <br /> cultural event, introduced himself, reviewed his experience as a promotor, and briefly described <br /> the proposed event. He indicated it was planned to be a small event and should not impact <br /> Pleasanton. Mr. O'Bannon related that the California Highway Patrol would have <br /> representatives at the event along with approximately one hundred security personnel and no <br /> alcohol would be served. Mr. O'Bannon expressed his dismay at the opposition of the <br /> Pleasanton Police Department. <br /> <br /> 5. MATI'ERS CONTINUED <br /> <br /> There were none. <br /> <br /> 6. JOINT MEE'HNG WITH THE PLEASANTON SCHOOL BOARD (SR 93:358) <br /> <br /> a. SChool Facilities Agreements <br /> <br /> President Judy Markolf called the joint meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. She then <br /> introduced Board member Eddinger. Mr. Eddinger introduced the members of the committee <br /> <br /> 9/1/93 <br /> <br /> <br />
