An agreement has <br />been reached between the property owners and lessees to provide for annual maintenance and <br />reimburse the property owners for documented expenses related to maintenance during the past five <br />years. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico asked about the annual cost. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lum said annual expenditures are estimated to be $39,000 for routine maintenance and <br />it would be many years before the money is depleted. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico asked if the money could also be used on other roads within the Pleasanton <br />Township County Water District area? <br /> <br /> Mr. Lum said the agreement with East Bay Regional Park District provides for $4000 a year <br />to maintain unpaved roads or trails. Or, the money could be used to improve other roads within the <br />Pleasanton Township County Water District. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico was surprised to find the City owned Santos Ranch Road and other roads on top of <br />the ridge.
