It was moved by Mr. Pico, seconded by Mayor Tarver, directing staff to gather <br /> information and prepare a report for the agenda regarding the G.E. Va!lecitos Nuclear <br /> Plant and the transportation of spent nuclear rods. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver. <br /> NOES: None. <br /> ABSENT: None. <br /> ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico had concerns regarding the lane closures at the 1-580/I-680 on Tuesday, <br /> April 27, 1999. He was dismayed over CalTrans lack of planning and understanding of what the <br /> impacts are for the community. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Pico, seconded by Ms. Ayala, directing staff to prepare a letter <br /> for Council's signature to CalTrans expressing concerns about how to keep the traffic at <br /> 1-580/I-680 interchange flowing smoothly over the next three to four years. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver. <br />NOES: None. <br />ABSENT: None. <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti said when Mr. Pico made the substitute motion regarding the airport <br /> study, she thought he said prohibit not discourage development applications.
