It was moved by Ms. Mohr, seconded by Ms. Scribner, to approve Resolution No. 94- <br />86, approving the removal and replacement of eucalyptus trees within the Hacienda Business <br />Park, subject to the conditions listed on Exhibit B of the staff report and including the amended <br />condition 2 presented at the Council meeting, which states: "Eucalyptus trees shall be replaced <br />at least on a one-to-one basis, unless otherwise approved by the City of Pleasanton Planning <br />Department." <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Pico <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 9b <br />PUD-85-02-2D-3M, Hendrick Automotive Group <br />Application for a minor modification to PUD-85-02-2D to allow the installation of an <br />outdoor automatic car washing machine at the rear of the existing Val Strough auto <br />dealership for the property located at 4341 Rosewood Drive. ' .... <br /> <br />Item 12a <br />Claim of Jennifer Lin for Reimbursement (SR94:241) <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Martin Inderbitzen, representing the Lin family, reviewed the background of the <br />Reimbursement Agreement as more fully set forth a letter presented to Council. He indicated <br />the major issue is the payment by the City of interest on the funds to be reimbursed to Mrs. Lin. <br />He suggested that a Councilmember meet with staff and the Lins to negotiate or to agree to <br />binding arbitration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush indicated a discussion of whether to settle this claim should be held in closed <br />session. <br /> <br /> Mr. Inderbitzen did not object to a closed session and suggested a continuance. <br /> <br />07/19/94 12 <br /> <br /> <br />
