Mr. Roush stated that it would be better to place that item on Council agenda at another <br /> date. If Council did not want to give further instructions to the property negotiators concerning <br /> terms and conditions of the agreement, but simply wanted to direct the negotiators to have the <br /> LAVWIVlA staff to come up with an agreement that would go back through the various member <br /> agencies, and then on to LAVWMA, that could be placed on a future agenda for discussion. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr asked if the eminent domain issue should be discussed at that time. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico felt that eminent domain should be the last resort only if an agreement cannot <br /> be negotiated. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver stated that there was no rush if the agreement was not going to be placed <br /> on the June ballot. <br /> <br /> Ms. Scribner called for the question. <br /> <br />The roll call vote wa~ as foll0wS: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarvet <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Pico to direct the City of Pleasanton negotiating team to work with <br />LAVWMA to draft an agreement between LAVWMA and EBDA that encompasses the terms <br />and conditions as outlined in the summary provided by the City Attorney this evening, with the <br />intent that the agreement would come back to Council for public discussion and debate. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush preferred to add Mr. Pieo's request by addendum to the March 15, 1994 City <br />Council agenda, rather than consider the motion this evening.
