OF <br /> THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> November 7, 1995 <br /> <br />1, CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Ben Tarver called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis brought the audience's attention to canine "Officer Drux" who is retiring <br />after nine years and eleven months of service. His duties at the Police Department included <br />searching for narcotics, tracking suspects, and handler/vehicle protection. Drux will continue <br />to live at home with his handler, Officer Cornell, and two other dogs. Ms. Dennis thanked <br />Officer Cornell and Drux for his faithful service. <br /> <br />2, ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, Karin Mohr, Thomas P. Pico, <br />Jr. and Mayor Ben Tarver. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; <br />Steven Bocian, Assistant City Manager; Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, <br />Director of Planning and Community Development; Randall A. Lum, Director of Public Works; <br />Susan Rossi, Finance Director; and Bill Van Gelder, Traffic Engineer. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta stated Item 6d, the Stanley Seniors property, had been continued to 11/21/95. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Dennis, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that the following actions be <br /> taken on the Consent Calendar: <br /> <br /> a.
