Ms. Mohr asked staff if 60 days was enough time.

Ms. Acosta felt it was enough time to work out the issues with Ms. Grant.

Ms. Michelotti asked to see a resolution sooner, and hoped this might come back to
Council in a month's time.

Ms. Acosta stated the issues for Ms. Grant don't require a meeting. Ms. Tumer's issues
may or may not get resolved. Ms. Acosta suggested to go ahead and approve the PUD
modification but delete the one address.

Mayor Tarver did not want to do that. He felt that meeting with the developer and the
residents made more sense.

Diane Turner, 3385 Hadsell Court, stated that the Grant home is too close to her property
line. She was in favor of the PUD modification but Kaufman and Broad took 2 1/2 years to fix
her drainage; she doesn't want to see Ms. Turner have the same frustrations.

It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, that the application be
continued for no more than 60 days to give the Mayor, staff, Kaufman and Broad, Ms. Turner
and Ms. Grant a chance to meet and discuss the issues.

The roll Call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

Item 6b
1995-96 Annual Assessments for Lighting and Landscape Maintenance District 1995-1,
Mo!ler Ranch..(SR95:290)

Mr. Randall Lum presented the staff report.

Mr. Pico asked if this property has a geological hazardous abatement district and what
the annual fee for the GHAD will be.

Mr. Lum replied yes and that the fee was for now less than $100.

Mr. Pico asked if this was paid in addition to the property taxes each resident would be
paying.

09/05/95 -9-
