Approve the Legislative Update Report and support of U.S. Senate Bill 652 regarding telecommunications; support the Mayor's letter regarding S652 to Senators Boxer and Feinstein; and inform staff of any new legislation of interest to Council. Approve the School Liaison Committee' s Findings and Recommendation; and authorize the City Manager to sign revised School Facilities Agreements to adjust the school impact fees to reflect the increased cost of school construction. (SR95: 161) The r011 call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmember Michelotti ABSTAIN: None Mayor Tarver commended Rick Aguiar for coordinating a group of citizens to facilitate additional affordable housing within the City of Pleasanton. He was responsible for identifying the needs and opportunities of affordable housing projects in the City until his untimely death in February, 1995. The Council expressed its gratitude for his insights, determination and conscientious attitude towards promoting affordable housing which will benefit a wide range of Pleasanton residents.
