Approve the City Council Minutes for April 18, 1995. <br /> <br /> b. Proclaim May 7-13, 1995 as "Hire-A-Veteran" Week in Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> c. Commend Kaleidoscope Hall of Fame Honorees. <br /> <br /> d. Approve the Monthly Disbursements and Investments Report for March 1995; <br /> approve claims in the amount of $5,269,238.97. (SR95: 129) <br /> <br /> e. Approve the application to close streets for Wheels of Thunder Championship <br /> bicycle race (6/10/95). (SR95: 135) <br /> <br /> f. Approve pilot program for green waste collection and composting; authorize a <br /> pilot program for source-separated greenwaste collection and composting, limited <br /> to 1,300 households; authorize expenditure of up to $50,600 from the City's <br /> Recycling Fund to purchase containers and produce customer information <br /> material; and direct Pleasanton Garbage Service to keep a separate accounting of <br /> all operating costs for the pilot program.
