Mr. Tarver disagreed and believed there may be good reasons to move an item
ahead of a continued item on the next agenda. He preferred having the flexibility to
place an item which has a large number of speakers present placed first on the agenda.
He preferred to eliminate the "Matters Continued" heading but agreed that if something
were continued, it would most likely appear first on the next agenda, but reiterated the
need for flexibility to move something else forward.

Mr. Pico indicated the decision had been made to try different formats and he
hoped that could continue for the next couple of months. If she were a resident who had waited all evening to
speak and then the matter was continued, she would be very angry if the matter were late
on the next agenda too.

Amador Valley High School

Mr. Pico congratulated the Amador Valley High School Boys and Girls Basketball
teams on their recent North Coast championships. He wished them luck in the state
championships.

8. LEGISLATIVE UPDATE REPORTS

There were none.

9.
