Ms. Dennis was confident staff would be able to protect the city's interests. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Dennis, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to permit the grading and <br />other on-site improvements to move ahead prior to the effective date of the Ordinance <br />based upon the on-site phn being approved by the building department, upon the <br />engineering estimate being reviewed and determined to be adequate, upon the cash security <br />being deposited with the City, and upon the City's approving an agreement to indemnify <br />the City. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti agreed with Mr. Tarver that this project must be done right but she had <br />faith in the Thoratec representatives that they will work the City staff. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Pico, seconded by Ms. Denni.% to require Thoratec to establish <br />a liaison committee consisting of any resident in the neighborhood as shown on the drawing <br />provided by Mr. Garrett, and for the committee to provide input to Thoratec on issues of <br />concern throughout the construction period and during the first five years of operation. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico indicated it is now almost 12:30 p.m. and he was unwilling to consider any <br />other items on the agenda. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver agreed. <br /> <br /> After further discussion, it was determined that a continued meeting be held on <br />September 10, 1996, to consider all items not addressed tonight. <br /> <br />Item 6f <br />Request for Stop Signs on Kamp Drive at Kral Place/Kamp Court. and on Kamp Drive at <br />Helen Drive, (SR 96:263) <br /> <br /> This item was discussed earlier in the agenda. <br /> <br />09/03/96 -22- <br /> <br /> <br />
