Ms. Michelotti was not happy that there maybe inaccurate information in the EIR, but
was satisfied that the matter will be addressed in the future study.

It was moved by Ms. Dennis, seconded by Mr. Pico, to adopt Resolution No. 96-87,
certifying the Final Environmental Impact Report for the 1996 General Plan Update for the
City of Pleasanton.
The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

1996 General Plan Update

Ms. Dennis wanted to add the commercial designation to the map for the Vineyard
Corridor.

Mr. Rasmussen indicated it was included in the text, and to clarify the map, that
designation can be added to the diagram.

It was moved by Ms. Dennis, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to add commercial
designations to the map for the Vineyard Corridor.
The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers- Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

Ms. Mohr still felt the property west of the land fill should be treated separately from the
rest of the Vineyard Corridor. If the lack of support for this is because of the division of the
housing units, then that should be divided up now.

Ms. Michelotti also wanted a separate discussion on West Las Positas, Rose Avenue, and
the Kuki property on Foothill Road.

Ms. Mohr inquired about the claims of Mr. Schneider regarding property on Kilkare
Road.

Mr. Rasmussen indicated all of the ridgelands area shown on the map is exactly as
adopted by Measure F in 1993. The General Plan Steering Committee and Planning
Commission, based on the wording of the initiative, did not recommend any changes. Killcare
Road was not included in Measure F, but Mr. Schneider's property was included. Mr.
Schneider's property is within the Pleasanton General Plan planning area but is beyond the
Urban Growth Boundary.

08~06~96 -16-
