Ms. Dennis then referred to the paragraph regarding Mobility Alternatives under Air Quality and suggested it read "Encourage and offer incentive programs for non-motorized (i.e. pedestrian and bicycle) and non-polluting mobility alternatives." Mr. Pico disagreed with the changes to the Economic and Fiscal Element as proposed by Ms. Michelotti. He felt impacts on neighborhoods should be considered along with other issues and that "compatible with the priorities within Pleasanton" should not be deleted. Ms. Michelotti felt the phrase was ambiguous. Ms. Dennis felt there were priorities like Pleasanton being family-oriented and encouraging diversity. Mr. Tarver suggested voting on the other issues suggested by Ms. Michelotti and then discussing Policy 2, Page Xl-7. It was moved by Ms. Dennis, seconded by Ms. Mohr, to approve the changes recommended by Ms. Michelotti, as amended at this meeting, excluding Policy 2, Page XI- 7. If a business is responsible to the environmental holding capacity and the surrounding land uses, the priorities come with the rest of the General Plan.
